Ive got fry (first time) guppys :hyper: I got some liquifry food for them and on the instructions it states 1 drop per 4 litres 2-4 times a day. One drop for 4 litres my tank is 126 litres!?! seems alot! my fry are in a breeding net. Im confused how much food should I give them?

Cheers Matt

I'd guestimate how much water (in litres) is in the breeding net area. In effect, that is the tank for the fry. Although, with nets, the water is still free moving and can pass out of the net... Are you able to use a solid (glass/plastic) bredding box, instead? That way, you can more easily control the water in their environment and you can then give them just enough food for the bredding box area (in litres).

liqufry isnt a good fry food to have in breeding nets.all you need to do it crunch up some flakes,Daphnia,Blooworms ect and they will eat it finr but liquefry in breedin nets isnt to good.
Thanks
Mat

If you go into the livebearer section there are a couple of great pinned articles about raising fry ,including their diet
