Calgary Alberta,
I found a baby kennyi under a rock in the fish tank unfortunately i only see one and it is kinda big and there are many mbuna ten times in size in the tank, WHat should i do to keep it alive i had planned to remove the mother while holding to my ten gallon, and return her after they were free swimming but, i hadn't noticed any femals holding, plus i assumed they were too young still, but i have one in the big fish tank and all my others are full, the ten of baby goldfish, and my tiny 8 hex as a hospital for a beat up elongatus, is there someway i can ensure the baby fishes health without moveing him?

My yellow labs spawned in my normal tank which is full of larger cichlids which would normally scoff them up. In addition to rocks, I had planted bogwood in my tank, the fry took cover in there, ignoring the rocks.
I bought a couple of large shells (looked naff but plenty of room for fry to hide inside) and I don't think I lost any!
When they got a bit larger and the other fish lost interest, I got them all out to take to a fish store - I had to strip the tank to do this as there was no way I could catch them with all that cover! Over seventy in all!
So long as they have hiding places, they have a chance.
Good luck!
