I FINALLY HAVE SAND IN MY TANK!!!!
took me over five hours to take everything out of the tank, clean the sand, put the sand in the tank, fill it back up, replant everything and put the fishies back in. yay i'm so happy! i'll post pics when i get some

Love running into locals

I usually shop at Aquarium Treasures at Point Clare (this shop is the best), and sometimes at the place at Erina, on the main road.

They're great, held us by the hand through our over-stocked cycling new tank, and other newbie mistakes. I'll keep coming back even after we move back to Hornsby.

just a question,
i have put some old stocking with gravel in them in the tank so it doesnt have to cycle again. how long should i leave them in the tank?

my pandas are very happy . it's amusing to see them filtering the sand through their gills lol.
