I Have A Tank Full Of Sick Cichlids

Out to be ok the readings are 0 except for the nitrates and that is 10.. They all are staying up at the top and not swimming much at all... What I need to know is the PimaFix is alright to use in with them.. I am not for sure what is the matter with them right now. Because they have no other signs of illness. I have some maracyn I could put in with them. They have been in the hospital tank today makes two weeks. Because I just bought them and I wanted to make sure they wasnt nothing the matter with them before I put them in the good tank.. Now I'm not quite sure what to do...Any advice would help me out real good at the moment.. Thanks in advance,,,,

Tank temps? Anything entered the tank you know of (aerosols)? Is the tank airated sufficeintly? Are you test kits accurate?

What have you done so far? Water change?

I have done a 20 percent water change. And I added maracyn to the tank, they are still hanging around at the top of the tank doing nothing. I also added a little extra saot to the tank. I hope I done the right thing I hate to loose the cichlids they are just soo cutel I still havent noticed any changes yet that would make me think something was the matter except for hanging around at the top of the tank.

Do you have good water and surface movement in the tank? What kind of fish, how many, how big?
