I Have A Baby Swordtail!

Im definitely excited that I have A (one is better than none) baby swordtail. I have had mollies and swordtails looong ago in the past and just more for the first time in forever. My female was pregnant once before but just randomly had the babies one night and i never saw one! but this time around I noticed that she was acting crazy darting all over the aquarium, but knowing that pregnant livebearers usually hide while giving birth I didnt think anything of it. The next morning i had one veeeery skinny swordtail and one little baby hiding in a plant. I just thought I'd pass this along for anyone with pregnant livebearers that may have a female acting this way.

They will do that but not always, some hide some go crazy

funny that i had the same, she was darting up and down the side of the tank.
i walked passed the tank and noticed she was diffrent right away, i though she ate them all. after looking a bit closer i saw one, so i scooped it out and put in a breeding tank. now i have 4 in there, my first time having any fishy babies, over the moon to have them 4....... now the othe one has (im hopeing) a few buns in the oven.. she is getting a big belly
