Could i buy mesh netting and glue to top of it the top plasti peice comes off the top so wen water changing the whole top will come off so thats no a problem and i would cut slots so i could feed. Also i found 1 and it says its 4x2 metres u think it will be enough

sounds viable. If the mesh is 4x2 metres in size it should be more than enough for a 20g tank.

alternatively you can buy perspex sheets from places like Homebase.....that's how I've covered mine.
