I wasn't sure where I should put something about cories so I decided on here. Would it be ok for me to add a few cories to a 10g with 6 platies? Or is the tank to small?

Like stated above, there is a sub-forum off of the catfish section.

I think that you should be fine adding 2 or 3, but probably not 6. You could even take out a couple platies (if you are willing to split with them) to make room for the cories to be on the safe side.

Personally adding 3 or 4 would be fine in my books, providing the filter is able to cope with the load that is. I have more than that in my 10G and never lose fish, but I have a large filter running on the tank.

I'm fixing to add another 10g filter from one of my other tanks to the tank(one good thing about having alot of tanks lol). I could put a couple platies in another tank also.
