i guess he was unhappy

i was feeding my ram/swordtail tank and checking out my bristlenose fry when i noticed that i didn't see my male german blue ram. i looked behind the rocks, under the sponge filter, pretty much everywhere in the tank and couldn't find him. there's only a small gap running along the back of the hood so i figured he couldn't have jumped out...so i started looking all around the base of the stand when i found him on the floor all dried up he didn't get along too well with the female ram so i guess he was looking for greener pastures. i hope he finds them

well, i got a new guy to replace the jumper. maybe the female ram is a nag and he couldn't take it any more...hopefully the new pair gets along better. when they bagged him at the store i thought they had given me a gold ram, but they assured me he wasn't, but minutes after being released into the tank he colored up well and looks like a handsome blue, maybe my girl will take a liking to him...

Sorry to hear that he jumped I could never keep those guys alive for more than 2 weeks tops

i'd had him for a couple months at least, and he was healthy. i guess the tank next to his looked better
