One of my Swordie girls gave birth to at least 25 fry this afternoon. I had just got home from work and checked on the fish and saw two fry trying to hide in the weeds so I scooped them and the Mommy into the breeding trap. I got to see the rest of the fry coming out. Sometimes there was as many as three at a time. That was a cool experience. I wish I had a video camera!!! I later found one more fry in the tank, but one of the Glow-sticks was chewing on the corpse.

This time I am definately not going to let them out for about a month since I lost my last batch a few at a time, thinking they were big enough. LOL

About six weeks should be fine if you have no big fish.

my guppies never ever seem to get eaten from day 1 one in my community tank very weird they sem to think they rule the tank very funny indeed
