Yes I got the wrong bus I was trying to get to the post office but ended up on the bus to my lfs because I thought it went past the post office but it didn't... anyway...

then I bought three female platies and a silver shark with a deformed tail - v funky looking! He has one and a half tails - sort of like a fantil goldfish! and then me thinks to myself I need bigger/more tanks... if I'm going to keep sharkie as well as all the other fishies so I spent far too much money and I'm now the proud owner of a jewel rekford 120 which I'm setting up in my bedroom. Now I have questions...

What to stock it with? Basically,
specs...
I want to be able to keep sharkie in which ever tank he'll be happiest in (I have a 180 litre community tank (4ft)) the 180litre seems logical...
I want to separate my two male mollies because one is getting bullied
I'm getting another plec, dunno what kind yet though but probs a bristlenose but I may be getting a little too tempted by the red panaque (sp?) in the fishy shop... but it's 35 pounds...
I'd love a moonlight gourami (but I haven't done any research yet so I don't know if it's a good idea).
clown loaches would be cool.

I'm pretty much just spliting the current community tank into two tanks and adding other few fishies. I just need help deciding what combinations would work best for fishy happiness.

and when PT says much larger tank he means it. these fish can grow up to 1 foot in the aquaria and since they need to be in shoals they should be kept in some where around a 200 gallon tank, maybe more

the tank situation is still very organic... I'm eventually planning to have a HUGE very long tank 8-10ft approx (when I can afford it) and sharkie will go in there. He's still quite small at the moment - how fast do they grow? The big big tank will hopefully come about sometime within the next two years (i'm constantly on ebay looking for bargains just haven't seen the right one yet).

I need a wire that connects my phone to the computer (don't have a dig cam) when I get it then yes, I'll post you a pic of sharkie.

Clown loaches also get to a foot in length so, if you're getting that big tank, they'd be ok - if you aren't sure though, don't get any.
Bala sharks grow rather quickly but if he's still small you may be ok for a while yet.
Moonlight gouramies would be fine BTW. They get to about 6-7" and are quite peaceful - just don't get any nippy fish that'll take off their ventrals and don't over-crowd them as they are territorial (well the males at least - you can tell they're males by the pointier and longer unpaired fins and the female's deeper and wider body when viewed from above - oh and males have orange ventrals when in breeding condition, females have yellow).

Also another to watch out for with that silver shark is these little buggers are great at jumping out of an uncovered aquarium so make sure you lid is very secure!
