Has anyone ever bought these bulbs before that walmart sells. I have bought several of them and this is the first time I have ever got one of them to grow before. I dont even remember the name of them. .

On Sunday, i planted a couple dwarf lilly bulbs(not from Walmart), and they both already have almost 1/4-1/2 inch of growth.. heh

i got some too. i think they are Aponogeton ulvaceus had to look it up cuz i lost my lil think they came in an im starting a planted tank. i put mine in a month or 2 ago an only 2 have grown :p but they are really neet an my betta likes to swim in an out of them

The two I've planted in my community tank have grown nicely. I have several in a 2.5 gallon tank just waiting to sprout up ^_^

Are they pretty??I was just wondering if I was wasting my time or not. But they have growed very fast.

well they arnt really pretty...but i like them an they look really good. im thinking bout adding some iron to my tank but not sure how my fish will like it :( any info on this will help

I got four plant bulbs from lfs, 2 out of the 4 grew. Not bad deal considering plants are nice after a month and price per bulb is $1.

The plants are aponthegon (sp?) which is already grown to top of water and almost flowering and another red plant which kinda looks like a red tiger lotus but i dont think it is.

I think if the bulbs grow, they are worth the time and little money.

i have bought thhese bulbs before at wal mart and i have had them about a month or so, and i have around 6 bulbs and only one of them actually sprouted and grew, im not sure if it is becuase it is the only one un touched by snails and algea eaters, whihc most likely ate the others.... but it is looking great, and is in my 10 gallon planted tank, it grows very rapidly....

this was only a week distance

I bought a package a few years back suprisingly durable little plants. Had them in my tank when I switched it to brackish and they lived on fine for quit a while. Stopped growing tho so I tossed them into my pond and they live on there.

THey actually have leaves on them now I cant believe it. It seems like it took them less than a month to do this, I may buy some more........
