Hello all,
thanks to the "hitchiker's guide" pinned in this forum I believe I have a positive ID: hydra. I have just spotted some 10 or so of them on the back glass and on the decor. Size: a few mm max. They are also surrounded by a number of tiniest creatures, bouncing freely around. Copepods?
About the hydra, I'm reading contradictory reviews on these tiny critters, from biblical plague to totally harmless for adult fish, so I'd like to have opinions. As much as I can, I don't want to remove them: they may well be my only ever invertebrate, given the kind of fish I have in there...
I have a 150 l, SG 1.001, aimed at 1.002, 4-month tank, with 3 Toxotes Microlepis and 10 Parambassis Ranga (very small, so kept separate in a breeder.
Is anybody seeing any harm in view?
