I got Balloon molly fry

I bought a heavily pregnant balloon molly last week and last night/early this morning she gave birth to about 10-15 little ones They are some of the biggest fry. I don't think any of them will get eaten.

They all look like mom...light yellow with some black speckles. Some dont have any speckles and some have a lot

Anyone on here have balloon mollys? How long does it take for them to become adults??

How on earth did you know she was pregnant? they all look huge to me

Thanks ) I knew she was pregnant because she looked like a big BOX I know they are all round but she was just huge

I hope my balloons all make it. I guess they are weaker species because they've been bred so much to look like this The guy at my lfs said they dont stock them because as soon as they get them in they die within a few days.

I bought 6 (2 male, 4 female) from a big pet store about 30 mins from here. 2 of the girls died within the first week I got them..so I went and bought 2 more females from a different store and these ones are a lot bigger and fuller. They look really healthy compared. I've had them now for a week and the other 4 for about 2 weeks.

Ive never raised balloon mollies but they do look really neat. Congrats on the fry and I hope they all grow up well.
