I Got A Femlae Betta

Tetras are nippy and will rip her fins up. The otos, cories, and pleco are the best bets. Stay away from the white mountain minnows. They like cooler temperatures than the bettas. If you keep the tank cool, the betta won't be healthy and if you keep it warmer for the betta, the minnows will have problems. If you do go with the girls you need to get a minimum of four and six is better, even in a 10 gallon tank. I keep between 12 and 15 in my 20 gallon, but it is heavily planted, has many caves and arches, and also has some live plants to help out water quality. You just have to keep up with your waterchanges so the waste doesn't build up.

I wouldn't put her in the 30 gallon. She won't get along with tetras or guppies.

WOW! These are great pictures of your Betta fish. :) Thanks for sharing them with us. I didn't know that you could put female Betta fish in a tank together. :) I learned something new. :)

I wouldnt risk putting anything small that would share her swimming space in a ten gal with her.. like tetras or minnows. Because I have a very docile girl whos great with other fish, but if i put anything with her that might swim in 'her' space she eats it  she ate 5 zebra and leopard danios in two days. All bettas are different though.. but if you dont have room to seperate them, i wouldnt try it.
If you had a sand bottom, some bottom dwellers would do great.. like corys, but you already have those in the 30G.. hmm, can kuhli loaches go in a 10G?
