i found a little black neon tetra baby in my tank hes only this big [---] so little so cute,hes the only one ,have no idear how he survived must of beeing doing something rite..man is he cute and so little

I'm confused... are you sure it's a baby tetra? If you have platys and tetras in the same tank, I'd guess it's a baby platy, unless you had eggs in there from the tetras.

Either way... Congrats! Fry are so much fun!

Fry are fun. I have 14 mollies which were born in the tank, I had to give 9 to a petshop as it would have got overcrowded. When I first saw tiny things I thought it was some kind of parasite. Plus I have platies and guppies as well so wasn't sure which they were at first. The one molly is black and has a very large dorsal fin more like a sailfin than a marbled, the mother was marbled. Neon tetras are said to be difficult to breed, don't know about other tetras.

definatly the black neon..u can tell fro mits chape and coulers..looks nuthing like a platy and since when do platys have stripes..hes very cute
