I got a albino female krib :)

Well I got a krib yesturday! Here's the story. Everytime i went to petco to look for rams i would see this cute little albino krib all the way in the back. Well i went to go look yesturday and the only fish left was the little krib. So I looked for the price tag that i saw last week that sayed albino krib like something.... So it wasn't there so they were going to sell me the krib for regular price. Around 4.50. So i got her. I tryed to teke photos but she keeps doing the thing newfish do. You know go up and down the glass for the first few days.

So i gouldn't get a good pic. You could kinda see the white out line. I think its a female cause when i first put her in the tank she got that red abdomin bar thing. And her dorsal fin isn't pionty. I might be mistaken though. Its so funny cause shes so little. Like maybe a female betta size. and when i first put her in the tank my keyholes came up and pecked at her. (They do that to test out new fish everythime never hurting them though and stopping after a couple of minutes.)Whats funny is thaqt they did that to the angels when they first came and the angels would run away but this little girl half the size of the kribs pecked back. So cute. I wanna get her a pair so im gonna be looking around for impresive ones. I know kribs arent really suppose to be with angels but in a few weeks it will be just one. so yeah any advice? She's in a 20 gallon. All the fish are juvinilles. And when the tank is finished it will be just 2 kribs and 2 keyholes for sure.

I had a pair of ordinary krib breed in my tank and they created bedlam!The female eventually killed the male and ate her fry so,on advice received here,im just going to keep her mateless from now on

Can i ask you a ? wolf. If she gets that red bar vertically across her belly does it make her a girl? Open for anyone's answer.
P.s- Just got back from a 3 day camping yesturday and she is so big! at least compared to was before. Now she's as long as my juvinile keyhole... And she used to be smaller than my female betta.

it is relativly easy to sex kribs
Males will have longer more pointed fins with color extending all the way to the end of the fin. This normally isn't the case on females.

A strange way to sex these fish which isn't usually the case with other fish is the caudal fin will actually be pointed on males whereas its rounded on the female. Females also have much more intense red/pink on the underside and their bodies are more rounded than the males.
