I got 5 fry!!!

Hi!
I have 4 platies: 2 males and 2 females none of them are in the net breeder and I didn't even know that female was pregnant for so long! I was just starting to think about buying a net breeder and some of you might have read my topics about livebearers and their pregnancy!
That's how it all began: I was watching a movie and feeding the fish and then I suddenly turned around and saw a little one swimming(I couldn't believe my eyes) but before I could say anything one of my zebra danios swam up and ate it I didn't know what to do them I saw another one and before I grabbed the fish net my gourami swam up and ate it !!!! I couldn't stand it I wasn't going to give up the little young for some evil hungry fish.
The saddest thing of all was I didn't even have a net breeder. So I took my fish net and placed poor female in there( by then I knew what female it was, b-cuz I was keeping an eye on her from a long time ago) she gave birth in there. Now they are in the jar.
I AM VERY PROUD!!!!!That was my first fry!
Do all fry lie on the bottom at the begining? I got the fry, what do I do now?
Help!!! Thanx in advance!

I'm still excited when I find new fry, although there are over 40 livebearer fry in a separate tank now. The platy fry are the cutest of all...

Yes, it's normal for them to stay at the bottom at first, but this won't take long.

I feed my livebearer fry very finely crushed flake food, as I read from someone elseut flakes in a plastic bag and start crushing and hitting it until it's small enough.
You can also buy fryfoods at the lfs ofcourse.
You should try to keep the fry in a heated tank, or maybe still get a net breeder and keep them in there for a while.
In my experience, platy fry don't grow very quickly, so don't rush them back with the adult fish...
