This is so exciting My husband just said I can go to the betta show in Vancouver this spring Yeah yeah, far off, but I am so excited already, just had to tell ya folks

Is it safe to assume Mr. Bkk will make an appearance?

we will be there for sure. might be good timing as we are now planning on which fishes to breed next in september, might have some keepers ready to show by then. is it IBC sanctioned by the way? wondering why i haven't heard of it yet?

yah, i just asked about it on the bc betta association web board, we'll see what develops i think we bc'rs can be more hospitable than just having it in mariannes basement don't get me wrong, her basement is great, just not that big. i'll get involved if she needs me, i've been wanting to get a show happening here in vancouver for a while now. this news has inspired us to start thinking of our next spawn i've already got two or three potential males lined up from our last ct spawn (a couple of special ones that definately won't be going to any lfs), the female? well, if we decide to spawn siblings i've got a tank full of ready females but we might just bring in a fresh female to stir up the pot a bit
