I Found Out The Name Of My Heater

Its called visi-therm. never heard of it. Its at an angle in the tank so i cant really see it but i was just curious because i wasnt sure if it was any good. It says its 300watts so is this right for a 40g tank? Reason i dont know is because my mother bought it from someone whilst i didnt know anything about that sort of stuff. I was just curious it was doing its job. Although it has a light i just noticed and it comes on and then it goes off every now and again. Is this normal? It has always done this.

Vis-therms are good heaters, i think thats what i'm using now.
300 watts for a 30gal? I think thats a tad too much but it wont matter that much anyway because its a heater stat .

nope nope its normal!
one of my submersible heater does that all the time, i think what it does is if you put it at a certain degree lets say 79, then whenever it reaches 79, the heater will turn off, and i think if its any lower than 75 it turns back on until it hirts 79 and repeats


it saves energy, i love it
