i found about 10 fry :hyper: but the female still has a huge gravid spot
shes eating and swimming as if nothings happened
is she going to give more (shes still huge)

Yes she will have more, she may even take up to a week to deliver the rest but the best thing you can do right now is feed her some high protein foods like freezedried krill/daphinia/tubifex/bloodworms and leave her in peace- also leaving the tank lights off for longer will also help create a stress-free enviroment.

will she eat fry before she finishes giving birth -_-
i am feeding her freezedried brine shrimp
(she barely looks thinner)

She may do, but as long as there's sufficient planting(lots of densly planted areas with plants that have lots of little leaves) there will always be some that survive unless your platy is feeling particually hungry but this is quite rare that a mother fish eats all her fry.
Congrats on the fry-so-far too :D  !

i would put ther into the main tank, this ill you will have some fry but she will be less stressed and the fry already there will be safer becase the mam isnt there to eat the fry

Don't put her in the main tank!! moving her anywhere will seriously stress her out and other fish in the main tank are far more likely to eat her fry than she is!!

oh sorry didnt read the question proberly *slapsself*
i thought you ment she was in a breeder trap sorry

she still hasnt dropped the rest
im worried -_- shes eating fine but not swimming much

Just leave her alone as there's not much else you can do to make her give birth and she'll do it in her own time- keep an eye out though just to make sure she's not in any severe stress and looks like she's gonna die etc.

We thought our mollie was pregnant about a week after we got her ... then we began to worry 5 weeks later when she hadnt given birth. Then one night i came home to find fry in my tank :D my boyfriend had rescued about 9 and put them in a breeding trap

Trust me, she will have them when she is ready. Dont worry
