I finally got to keep a betta

that lived to be old age before he passed away this morning. This was my little baby,His name was simpson and he was the most adorable fish I have ever owned. He lived to be five years old.

not always, mrplaty, my fish Ray lived for 5 years too. 2-3 years is the norm though There are exeptions, just ike one day wonders and 5 year guys.

Sounds like he died at a ripe old age... if only we could all be so lucky. I'm sure you gave him a wonderful home and cared for him well
