I have been very happy with the new fish in my Malawi Cichlid tank. They too seem very happy!! I came down this morning, and went through the normal ritual of turning on the light and watching the feeding frenzy. It was then that I noticed a fish was missing
After 5 minuted of searching I found it. It had got itself wedged behind the heater during the night, and as you all know, as the temperature drops overnight the heater comes on!!! As you can imagine, the poor little thing had been cooked alive
!!!! I feel absolutely dreadful, and being a vegetarian feel even worse that pain has been inflicted on a creature at my hands
I can only hope that he didnt suffer!
Does anyone have any suggestions to stopping a repeat of this tragic accident
Any ideas gratefully received.
