So i found some black sticky back plastic. (kind they cover kitchen cupboards with). I didnt peel it off..i just stuck it to the back of the tank. looks ok..because it was rolled it left a few bubbles when unrolled. But its done now. PLUS i relaid my bedroom flooring. This time with Vinyl....so future water changes will not cause all this hassle again! :good:

Tank 2 (the guilty one!!) with new flooring. :)

i finaly added black to the back of mine too, makes the tanks look so much beter

yea much beter, makes the fishes colours stand out so much beter, and adds nice shadows in places i find

The vinyl is great, my current apartment has exactly the same stuff you just got: didn't have any problems with it even when the other half flooded the whole apartment!

Look great! Gonna switch to sand AND a black background now... looks so much better.

Where did you find the plastic from?

Looks a bit naff to me, i like the darker bog woods personally. :D Pour some boiling water over it in the sink then scrub it a bit then more boiling water and chuck it in your tank. If it leeches and you dont like it, you can remove it when you do your big water change at the end of the cycle. :)

mind you, saying that, its gotta be better than the sunken ship :)

Sorry i had to say it didnt mean to rub it in :p lol you will have some sooon!
