Yes. This is about stocking. Just bear with me.

At first I wanted some clown loaches, angel fish, and a few gourami. Now that changed a week or so ago. I then started looking into other schooling fish and posted a thread about it. And I have now changed my mind again and will probably keep changing as long as I don't find something else cooler. :p Now the stocking has been revised and is as follows.

5-6 Giant Danios
5-6 Tiger Barbs
4-5 Kuhli Loaches
3 Boesemani Rainbows
4-5 Neon Blue Dwarf Rainbows

I just couldn't imagine having 5, 12 inch clown loaches wimming in my tank. It would be crazy!

Oh yeah. The tank is 55 gallons, 48x13x20

btw there are 2 species of clown loaches 1 which grows to the big 12 inches and 1 which grows to 6 inches and i don't think they would grow to 12 inches in that sized tank lol. and your stocking list sounds really good.

:good:

there are 2 species you can only make sure you get the 6 inch one's if you get a proper ID on it. btw i can't do that someone with alot more experience in ID those 2 species would have to help you.

Where's your evidence of that? Sure you're not thinking of yoyos (of which there are two different species, one growing a couple of inches larger than the other)? Unless you mean shortbodied clowns, but they're pretty rare and even then AFAIK they don't get a great deal smaller.

i think it was the wolf who told me that as i was telling someone about they get to the full 1 foot long and he told me that not all of them grow that large, so i'm just telling what i've been told. sorry if i'm wrong.

:good:
