I went on holiday on monday morning and came back this afternoon.
I went straight to the tank to see what condition it was in. There was quite a bit of algea and then i noticed i only had 7 neons instead of 11 and i thought the rams may of eaten them but i checked my external filter just in case and there at the bottom of the filter were 4 neons!
I put them back in the tank and about 10mins later i fed them some frozen bloodworm which they all enjoyed!(1st meal in 3 days)
Then i noticed what i thought were two neons scrapping with each other but then i looked more closely and i could see that the female was laying eggs!!
and the other neons were close by snatching them all up!
I am well chuffed to see my neon laying eggs because it is the closest i have been to breeding anything.
