I Blame Netty

It's been a very long time since I posted. I'm not sure if anyone remembers me (wouldn't blame you, it's been a year?) but I sure remember the names and faces here.. which is awesome.

In the past we had 16 or 17 rescued Bettas. The ones that were getting shredding by guppies and tetras in shops.. or the ones that looked so dreadful that anything was better than their current situation. Sadly all the boys and girls past on quite a while ago due to old age and their tanks packed up and moved out to make way for other things.

Then I met Netty.

Netty and I met completely randomly through our other pets and fish got bought up in the convo. Took me ages to click that I'd seen her post hundreds of times before on a different forum and she just happens to live a few miles away. Then we got shown pictures, dammit, that was it, no going back, we've got the bug again!

I've just set up a 5gal tank, switching over some filter media later and allowing it to settle, then picking up our new boy when all is ready. A PlakatxCrowntail, absolutely stunning.

I can see this turning into an addiction again, just like before and I 100% blame you, Netty.. I know you'll read this! And I can hear you chuckling from here

I'll add pictures when he arrives, or Netty can throw some up for me.

Who.....moi I expect I'll get the blame for anything you buy at Donny show too when we got up next week I'm going to be like the devil, sitting on your shoulder saying "buy it....buy it"

This little guy will probably be the first of many more to come!!!! I think I noticed some wall space in your room.....you could quite easily put up some shelves for some divided tanks

I'll try to get an updated pic of your boy and put it on for you. His fins have grown loads since his last photo shoot.

My boyfriends already asked if you've any yellow/blacks.. lol!

We couldn't get out to get plants today, I was supposed to be picked up but I was forgotten! But everything is sorted and settling nicely.. I'm so excited lol How I survived without them for a year I don't know!

And yes, lady, you will be blamed for every buy hehe!

haha glad your back i forgot to say today i saw £35 betta it was quite smalla bout a inch but the colours oh my god and it was in a quite bing box 7inch by 7inch normally the bettas in a small 3 by 3inch box i think it was a special which the suppliers have stocked in wow i should of bpught
