Hi, I'm Phox, I'm a kid from Cheshire and I'm into computing/gadgetry and fish. I've never owned a tank, so I'm looking to start one. My eventual dream is to save enough money to get a custom built tank, with a fully automated diy arduino/RPi maintenance unit.

Not really sure what else to say...

to the Forum.

You're off to a good start to your fish keeping hobby by already reading up on Fishless Cycles and asking for advice. Nice!

Start with the basics and learn then go up from there, also take your time, no rush, ask questions if you ever get stuck or unsure.

And all will recommend for a beginners tank, imho, nothing less than 60 litres, get the biggest tank size for your budget and space you can allow.
Will be worth doing
