Not a happy bunny today. Got up this morning to discover one of my beloved clown loaches dead in the tank...................No cause.....the water is all normal and all the other fish in the tank are fine.Been in a downer of a mood all day.....I came on here to try and cheer up,but I just keep seeing "clown loach"written everywhere.
I don't usually take fishie deaths so bad......but I've never lost a clown loach before and I feel terrible!!
Cripes. You have my sympathies. I've just replied to another thread about clown loaches and it was upbeat - this has reminded me of the other side of the coin.
Try to reassure yourself that it was a natural occurence and that (from what I can tell) it has no reflection on your fishkeeping skills or your lack of care.
Awwww, I'm so sorry, chali! I remember when I lost my first Clown...I thought he was playing dead...then looked a little closer. I hated losing him. Clowns have so much personality and vitality that I think they are the hardest fish to lose, second only to Bettas. I'm so glad he was the only one I lost...I don't think I could handle losing any more of my little guys.
