lol you should definitely make the trip, redbetta, they're quite worth it. I left behind a gorgeous reddish BF boy- actually he looks quite like Boq does now, only in the store Boq was cleverly disguising his resemblance to him The deltas and HMs go for fifteen and change, which is pretty good, especially when you don't have to pay shipping on them. As far as I know, I'm the only would-be breeder over here. They get these guys from somebody near Montreal.

Dorrie, apparently, was not under warranty because the gals just got into the store that day, so even though she died like six hours after I bought her, they won't give me a refund I'm just really glad I didn't put her in with the other girls- who knows what she could have passed on to them, too

Yay! I finally found a trigger for Boq! While apparently he doesn't find li'l Brill impressive enough to flare at, I moved Fiyero's tank over right beside the 5 gal and bam! Every single part of the little guy stood right on end

Fiyero didn't know what to make of this runty little juvie puffing up at him at first, but eventually he decided to humour him and flare back

Boq finally realised Fiyero was bigger than him- he got all stress striped, and started hiding under his plant, so I put Fiyero back on my night stand. Now what do you think Boq is doing, but staring where Fiyero's tank used to be, trying to figure out where his flare-buddy went!
