Hey all you lil fish lovers out there
hehe
I am new here!
I have a tropical fish tank with 3 rainbow fish, 5 harlequins and 2 platys.
I know that these arent the most spectacular fish in the world, but I have had these fish for over a year now and have grown quite attached to them! and I have a bit of a dillemma lol
I am going to be moving about 150 miles away from where I am now in the next couple of weeks, so I have been contemplating what to do about the fish. I was considering giving them back to the shop I originally bought them from, but I dont want to part with them! haha
I just think it would be a shame after this long of having them to give them back. Ive had the 2 little platys since they were first born lol Ive watched them grow! lol
I was wondering if any of you know how to successfully transport fish over long distances.
Ive just had a look on the internet and it says to put them in bags and just be careful basically. But what about the temperature of the water? Will it not get too cold? Or would they survive being a bit colder just for a few hours? Im living in the uk and its not the warmest of places right now lol
Well any advice and help would be much appreciated
Please help me to keep my fishes!
