I have been keeping fish for about a year now, and I just receintly started keeping live plants. At first I just started out with a regular light (the light that came with the hood), and some low light plants, java ferns and such like plants. The plants survived but really didn't grow that fast. About a week ago I broke down and bought this new light Light Since then everyday I come home there is new growth in all my plants. I think I am more interested in watching the plants grow than the Humpback puffer that I have in there. I also think that my puffer likes it better as there is more cover for him to hide in. He seems to be more active and I see him more often than I did before. I am so glad that I have found this side of keeping fish. Just thought I would share with you all
