i have a 4x2x2 which is currently sa. IF i was to sell them all and start again using fish in the 4 to 6 inch range . and id sussed out compatibility in tankmates etc what would i be looking at stocking-wise purely in terms of number of fish

wow thats a hell of a lot of fish . and ive been drooling over the colours in the pics of africans ive been looking through. how come you can stock so much more heavily with africans than with central/south american?

I think so. I can't think of any that won't fight for something...
