Hi folks for the last two weeks my H. Polys are developing holes in old leaves. The only thing that has changed is that they do not get as much light, there being frogbit above and so growth has slowed down considerably. Also I uprooted all polys a couple weeks ago and replanted top 5cm or so, so they lost much of their roots!

My dosing regime is the same i.e. E.I. and injected CO2 with 81/2 hour lights.
Do I need to dose more Potassium?

Any suggestions appreciated!

Just to add - some old leaves are rotting too!

ok I am thinking there must be another reason for my hygros to be showing these symptoms as my dosing regime has not changed... Could they have been damaged when I uprooted the lot... maybe I left them out of the water too long (stayed wet) while I was sorting the tank out?

or could there be some other deficiency that is stopping the plants utilizing K?

Interestingly the hygros that have found more light by growing at an angle seem to be healthier up top!

Aaron this seems to have occurred after trimming! I have removed most of the old leaves and there is new healthier looking growth since I initially posted.

So what exactly happened?
