my hygrophilia polysperma is growing really tall , its up to the top of my 4x2x2 !! but its just not bushing out . can i just take the tops off and re-plant the cuttings ? will this damage the main plant? also how do i encourage it to fill out and get bushy?

"when it grows too large, pinch off the stalk and plant it on the bottom again. Larger plants will often send roots out into the water under the lowest leaves."

"The shoots must be pinched out regularly. Leaves lying on the surface form small new plants."

From tropica magazine
