I am finding my hygro polysperma is growing accross the substrate rather than upwards like it should, one piece is growing nicely how it should but the rest just trails its stem accross the substrate and grows like that, ideas?

I run 2.5WPG, 30ppm Co2, EI dosing dosing etc. :/

Yep. It does that. If you have an upright stem, and lie it on it's side, all the little roots that grow out from the stem will take hold in the substrate, and they will all produce more upright stems from the node where the roots came out of. It's a great way to make 10 plants from one stem.

Ah I see, I planted all the stems vertical so I presumed they would just grow that way. If its a good thing that they are doing that then I guess I may aswell leave them as is to grow?

I have been uprooting and replanting thinking I was doing something wrong.

With stem plants like hygro, you can plant them vertically and cut the top section off and replant when they get too tall, or do it horizontally like how yours is going. I never really left mine when it went horizontal like that, because I didn't want a big wall of it. But you could always leave it for a while and then have a bunch of plants that you can cut off and reposition later.
