I had one of these for a while, it came with a second hand tank, all battered clogged up and looking useless but after I cleaned it up it worked great, really easy to use, nice and quiet too, I used it for a while on my turtle tank (which gets very messy) and it coped great. Nice little filter, would recommend it. Should be ok with your tank size just may need cleaning more than a larger filter, thats all I found with it.
