Well, as the title suggests, I have a mystery fry. For the last 4-5 months I've had at least one female holding continuously. Most recently I had two, a l.caeruleus & m.callainos, well, I've recently come across a single fry that has survived. The problem is, I can't tell what it is, it's about 3/4-inch long, has faint horizontal stripes, and depending on the light, is either a silvery blue, or yellow. I've had both l.caeruleus & m.callainos broods in the past, but this guy doesn't look like any of those fry. I actually got the privilege of observing the m.callainos spawn, so if it's from that female, it has to be pure, however, it didn't see who the l.caeruleus spawned with.
Ok, here's what I have in the tank, tell me what you think.
m.callainos 2m:4f
l.caeruleus 6, not sure on ratio, but at least one female
p.acei 4, again not sure on ratio, but at least one male and one female as I have observed them spawning
p.crabro 1f, she's been trying to breed with every male in the tank, but no luck yet
Ok, I got two pics of the unknown fry, the second pic is pretty blurry, but you can see the coloring difference it's showing, and yes both pics are of the same fish.
