Hybrid Bettas?

When I was at my LFS tonight, they had put up a new section for Bettas and are now selling CT males and "hybrid" females... What is a hybrid?

hybrid is a cross, like they wont be pure crowntails they might have VT DT HM anything in them.
i think im right but im sure someone will correct me if in wrong

Yeah. Thats probably to make them sound more interesting. If it said, 'HMxCT bettas' not many people would care. But Hybrid sounds interesting.
