Hurt Pink Convict

Hi 1 of my pink convicts just got in very bad fight with my jewel chichlid! Now my pink convict is not swimming and is always sitting in the bottom in the corner of my tank. He's breathing heavy, not swimming around, he has what appears to be bloody scars on his stomach and ragged bottom fins. I just put salt in the tank and was thinking about moving him to a spare 10 gallon that I have ao that I could keep a closer eye on him. Should I raise the tempature or is there anything else that I could do? Thank you.

Bless him was the fish fighting him because he was ill.
Sounds like septicemia.

Wasn't much to be done really not a good sign at all when they labour breaqth with a bacterial infection and lay on the bottom.
