Well, as you msy not know, hurricane Ike is forcasted to hit us in a few days. I am not going to bring my fish due to space issues in the car. What can i do that will help these fish survive when im gone. Most likely, the power will go out for a few days and I willl be gone until sunday.
What do i do?

Oi, sorry to hear about that, I often wonder what happens to aquarium fish in disasters... Anyhow, I think you should get a battery pump.

What fish and how many tanks do you have?

1 55 gallon with:
2 baby discus (was gunna get more this weekend but thats out of the question)
9 cardinals
3 rasboras (harlequin)
1 gbr
8 ghost shrimp

Oh no! that is horrible! Try to get things hooked up to a generator and hope for the best?

I'm really sorry to hear that! :(

I would also suggest a couple battery operated pumps, that should last a couple of days anyhow. fingers crossed when you get back that you have potable water avalible and that the tank makes it
