boooooooooo

and can i just say 'GO HAMILTON!!!!!' after todays action :D

Those last 4 laps were brilliant, whoops Kimi, you better learn to drive in the wet mate

YAAAYYYYYYYYY LEWIS :D

OMFG - I do not believe this

Lewis was given a 25sec time penalty at the end of the race for cutting the chicane. What a lot of old tosh. Yes he did cut it, but he also let Kimi back in front, then he overtook him.

This is the usual rubbish that allows Ferrari to gain the advantage.

Makes my blood boil!!!!

i'm gonna refrain from using the language that i want too

what an absolute joke.

not at all IMHO

Lewis and Kimi were side by side going into the corner, yes he had to take evasive action and cut the corner but only cos Kimi gave him no ground. Fair enough, it's racing and that's how it goes, but in my opinion all he'd have to do to take away the advantage he gained is to get back to how they were before the corner i.e. side by side. He did more than that and let Kimi totally past him, Kimi's defensive driving and straight line speed in those conditions was just not up to scratch which is why Lewis passed him.

At any rate, even if you say that Lewis did gain an unfair advantage, Kimi crashed out of his own accord a short while later, was a completely un-connected incident (because the Ferrari's are pigs in the rain) so it all didn't matter anyway. Even if Lewis hadn't taken Kimi he'd have still won when Kimi crashed out.

If Kimi had come home in second I could understand the logic (although I still wouldn't agree with the decision) but Massa was miles off the pace behind them, to give an advantage to him and Heidfeld is just ludicrous.

Also the precedent for penalities for this type of incident is a time penalty of 15 seconds, Massa was 17 seconds behind, funny how they decided it needed to be more severe this time.

I'm getting severley hacked off with all the magic Lewis and McLaren penalities, FIA have got it in for them (or rather they love ferrari a bit too much).

I'm very annoyed that Massa's pit lane release in Valencia was admitted to be 'unsafe' but because nothing happened because of it he just got a fine not a time penalty, if he'd had the same time penalty as Lewis got then I think it would have given Lewis the win (can't remember exactly what the margin was). What Lewis did was in no way 'unsafe' and had no impact on the eventual outcome of the race, he had to take evasive action and drove like a sportsman afterwards.

Now I don't think that Massa should have had the Valencia win taken away from him, it was his race nad he won it fair and square, but the same credit should be given to McLaren.

[/rant]

apologies if i'm super grumpy today, this really hacked me off then i only had 2 hrs sleep last night

Its typical bullcrap, Ferrari could kill someone in broad daylight with a million witnesses and still get away with it as far as the FIA are concerned. Id hoped this sort of bias would disappear once Schumacher was no longer racing - as lets face it, he could do no wrong, but apparently the FIA are still firmly embedded up Ferrari's backside.

Hamilton Lost His Appeal  :kana: :yahoo:, Well Done FIA :good:
