hey all I know I haven't been on in ages! quick question, I noticed today that one of my female bettas has a huge chunk of flesh missing from her side. I have no idea how it happened, I separated her out shes swimming around listlessly but at least shes swimming. What do y'all think I should do for her, Salt would help with infection but it'll probably cause pain on an open wound, Im going out shopping for meds and rat food soon so any suggestions would be great! Thanks

Keep the water level pretty low so she doesn't have far to go for air
Other than that, I don't know b/c I haven't had this experience, but other ppl on here have
Good luck with her x

I have this also, have taken her out and she is in little tank with no heater, 100% daily water changes and salt n melfix.

Has it turned into a hole, did it start off as a little red sore or pimple.
