I am beginning to suspect that my 75us gal fish tank is some how negatively impacted by my drum set.

Is this even possible?

if so how could i protect the tank.

Tank is about 13 feet away from the set, but there is a doorway between the two, which i suspect might funnel the sound waves?

You could play a little quieter?

I personally wouldn't worry that much, I remember seeing a trusted member of this forum not so long ago posting their fish room being right next to their bass amp. I have a feeling fish get so tuned in with daily life that they just don't get startled at all anymore in my home, I would introduce Rummy nose who would hide the second my dog cried or barked. Can be watching the football and see Alan Pardew once again let our team down with all the shouting at the TV and they're not phased at all...

Use a guitar amp to block the sound of the drums.
