As you know for awhile I have waned a male CT betta... I have a 4 gallon tank and will pay for the fliter and heater myself oh and plants... My mom knows I really wan one and know I will pay for it all myself with my pocket money... But she wont budge to let me have one...

what could i say to get her to let me buy him and let me have a exter (Small) tank in my room.

Done that before but she said you arent getting any off there if you were getting one. they are all from America or too near, Though she did like them. I have sent her a nice email asking if i may have one and that i could possible make a fliter my self for him...

exaclty, show her the prices then, when you do see one you can show her what a bargin he would be.

if you need some advice about how to make a sponge filter, ive made one for each of my three betta tanks and it was VERY easy and cheap...most of the stuff is just laying around anyway.
