Good water quality should help. Fins curl as a result of being in poor water conditions for an extended period of time. Make sure his water is always crystal clean, and adding a bit of aquarium salt probabl wouldn't hurt.

excellent water quality definately fins tend to curl when they're kept in unfiltered environments i've found.

i've also heard some sunbathing occasionally can help!

:good:
Thanks. I plan on getting them something better than they are in now. It is far too small. I told my mother 1 gall or more, and she cam e back with something very small. I will look.
Sunbathing as in placing in Direct sunlight for an hour or something?

yeah like that, but done very carefully so as to make sure they don't get stressed or too hot.

yep and make sure you keep a thermometer in there and check to make sure the temp doesn't get too hot or fluctuate too quickly.
