How To Tell If My Guppys Are Male Or Female?

does anyone know how to tell if my guppys are males or females. is there a really easy way to tell other than colour?

look at their fins. the fins on the underside of the male are pointed back. not really a great explanation, but i think keeping it simple will make it easier to understand.

Also the females don't have as long finnage as the males

Males are usually a lot more colourful and I find a bit smaller too.

females are twice as big as males and will be less colourfull
males are more colourfull and have long flowwing tail (most of the time anyway)

Put subtley the males have a visible penis shaped fin on their expected waist which will occasionally swing out at right angles when they are close to a female and trying to mate.
