How To Start Over

OK i've just lost my two guppies. i have a 5 gallon fish tank and i want to start over please help me stop killing the poor little fish.... i have not done anything to my tank it's still running and of couse i've taken the dead fish out......please help what sould i do to get started again

Sorry to hear about your problems, fish4dummies. To be able to advise, we need to know a bit more. How many fish and what fish have you currently got in your tank? How long has it been running? How did you start it off? Have you got your water stats, i.e. the readings for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates?

I am afraid keeping fish isn't really all that easy. If you think about, you are creating a whole little eco-system in the tank, which is something you don't have to do for your other pets. But then again, once it is working, it is great fun! I hope you will be able to sort out your current problems and get to enjoy the fun bit.
