if u use pressurized CO2, u can just switch it off. But in my small tank, i only have yeast kit. It is enought for plants, but i notice many morning, the fish struggle. One of my cardinal even died because this problem. Any suggestion ?
Many thanks

You could 1,use a weaker mixture with less yeast 2 when the lights go off disconnect the co2 tube from the diffuser while leaving it in the water, or 3 bring the diffuser closer to the surface at night or run an air stone at lights out, you could use a timer.

I run a Yeas CO2 on one side of the tank (where most of the plants are) and a small bubble wall on the other side. Plants growing nicely and fish never unhappy.

Put the reactor onto of your hood over the lights. When the lights are warm, the reactor is warm and speeds up CO2 production. Use DIY yeast mixture and adjust to suit so that when the lights are on, the CO2 is effectively 'on'.

PS
Otherwise instead of using the bublle ladder, instead use a Barr-Venturi Reactor that uses a power head to mix the CO2 into the water - when the mains is off the CO2 is off - hence connect the powerhead to the lighting timer.
