I have 1 common pleco and I want another of the oposite gender.
It is very small and I will trade it in when it gets bigger untill then I would like to breed some and give them to my cousinsYou can't even have one common pleco in a 29 gallon - never mind two
And they don't breed in captivity (as far as I know).

Besides to already mentioned impossibilities of breeding common plecos, they are cheap as chips - so even if you "could" breed them; the culture food, care, time and effort would cost a lot lot more than a juvi common pleco. Besides - just look in almost any classifieds ads selling fish - there are always people try to give away commons (for free). It is very small and I will trade it in when it gets bigger untill then I would like to breed some and give them to my cousinsYou can't even have one common pleco in a 29 gallon - never mind two
