hey all, first or second time posting in the plant section but I need it...I have 2guppies and a platy in a small 1g (i know its bad, plz dont critisize) and instead of eating the flake food, they nibble on the plant all day, and now it's left with 1 stem that has some foliage but the rest is just eaten stems...how should I recover the plant and how long? I was thinking in a water filled 2L bottle with 12hours of lighting?

They are not eating the plant, but eating the little critters that are thriving on the plants.

What kind of plant is it? If you have the wrong plant thriving in a tank that is not sufficient for it, the plant will die and lose it's leaves.

it's not losing it's leaves, I'm sure of that. They are eaten by the gupps and platy and as for plant name, I'm not sure

EDIT: It's called Foxtail Myriophyllum. It is a small one. Only 15cm big

Sounds harsh, but the effort and cost in trying to revive it probably it's worth it.
